The supplementary House of Representatives election for the Division of Newcastle will be held tomorrow Saturday, 21 November 1998.

"It is compulsory for electors who were enrolled for the Division of Newcastle on 7 September 1998 to vote on Saturday," Divisional Returning Officer for Newcastle, Ian Jones said today.

"The doors to the polling places will open at 8 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. sharp", he said.

"If voters have any enquiries they can call 13 23 26 (cost of a local call)", Mr Jones said.

Progressive results can be accessed from the AEC Web Site at http://election.aec.gov.au.
