Candidates, Senate Groups and Third Party Returns - 1998 Federal Election

From 9.00 am on Monday, 22 March 1999, election returns of Candidates, Senate Groups and Third Parties for the Federal Election held on 3 October 1999, which have been lodged with the Australian Electoral Commission, will be available for public inspection.

The returns cover details of donations received and certain categories of expenditure incurred by candidates, Senate Groups and Third Parties. Broadcasters and Publishers are also required to lodge returns. It should be noted that political parties no longer lodge election specific returns following an election. Their annual disclosures become available on 1 February each year.

The returns of Candidates, Senate Groups and Third Parties may be inspected during office hours at the AEC's Central Office at West Block, Queen Victoria Terrace, ACT, or at AEC Head Offices in all other capital cities.

Note: Disclosures for the Newcastle supplementary election will become available for public inspection on Monday, 10 May 1999.
