Age 17 Enrolment
Australian citizens who are 17 years old can apply for enrolment by completing an electoral enrolment form. Your name will then be placed on the electoral roll so that you will be able to vote in federal, state and local government elections as soon as you turn 18.
You can complete the PDF enrolment form for your state or territory either on screen before printing it out; or by hand, after printing it.
Completed enrolment forms must be signed by hand, as electronic signatures cannot be accepted.
If you will turn 18 between the announcement of the election (date of the writ) and polling day and have not already applied for enrolment, you have until 8pm on the day the election is announced to get your enrolment form in.
